“Flowing City”, first confirmed authors: Tadashi Onishi and Tatsuo Suzuki

Flowing City collective editorial project is taking shape. The project is dedicated to black and white single pictures and Projects/Portfolios freely inspired to the concept Flowing City by Italian writer and journalist Roberto Srelz.

Flowing City Open Call has ended last January 28th, 2018 and has seen photo contribuitions of more than 900 pictures and 70 portfolios of more than 200 authors from all over the World. Exhibit Around staff is already working to select the best works, that will converge in a collective editorial project composed by images and words and an international exhibition.

We are proud to announce that first selected authors are two great photographers fomr Japan: Tadashi Onishi and Tatsuo Suzuki.

Tadashi Onishi is born in 1973 Tokyo, Japan. Photographing the cityscape and street life combined with social nature to find common ground between the street and documentary photography in Tokyo. A member of “VoidTokyo“.  Tadashi is the winner of TPD Book Award 2017 with the project “Lost in Shinjuku”.

Tatsuo Suzuki is born in 1965 in Tokyo. Living in Tokyo today. Started shooting in 2008. His aim to shoot the street is to show how the world is beautiful, interesting, wonderful and sometimes cruel.

Other selected photographers will be announced soon, together with the two winners that will be rewarded with a free stay of 2 nights in Trieste during Trieste Photo Days 2018 (last weekend of October), so they can attend the presentation of the volume “Flowing city”.
