Nick Turpin special guest in the “Short Street Stories” project

We promised a special guest to participate in Short Street Stories and now we can officially announce it: a series of pictures of the British photographer Nick Turpin will open the photobook!

Nick is the founder of the iN-PUBLiC street photographers group which played a significant role in the modern resurgence of interest in street photography as an approach. His presence in Short Street Stories is the squaring of the circle: our project wants to pay homage to the satyrical style of collectives such as In-Public, Un-posed, Burn My Eye and Master Martin Parr!

The Short Street Stories photobook will be produced during the year and presented at Trieste Photo Days 2019. Martin Parr and Nick Turpin will be the main guests of the sixth edition of the festival, save the date to meet them in Italy on October 25-27, 2019!

For the occasion we decided to extend the Call to February 28, 2019. So there is more than a month to apply! It will be a unique opportunity to see your works in a prestigious volume together with an international street photographer.

Nick Turpin is a London based street photographer. In 2000 he was the founder of the iN-PUBLiC street photographers group which played a significant role in the modern resurgence of interest in street photography as an approach.
