Exhibit Around APS and dotART’s collaborations with the city’s important cultural entities continue!

Exhibit Around APS and dotART, in ongoing efforts to promote culture and art in the city through authorial photography projects and the Trieste Photo Days festival, join the “THE CITY THAT I WOULD LIKE” project devised by the Trieste Order of Architects PPC to mark 100 years since the founding of the professional associations and presented today in Trieste at the Venezia Giulia Chamber of Commerce.

For this anniversary, 6 photographs from the Trieste Audace project will be used as backgrounds in a workshop dedicated to children and young people to be held on Saturday, June 24, in Trieste.

During the workshop, young people will be invited to redraw the contours and spaces of the images.

The photographs will be exhibited at the Risto Škuljević Hall, located at 12 Via Genova, Trieste.

We would like to thank Andrea Cipriani, Aran Cosentino, Francesco Lupò, Maria Zambon, Marisa Paoli, Pia Parolin who contributed to this initiative by providing their shots taken for the Trieste Audace project. The project is realized by dotART and Exhibit Around APS on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Trieste Photo Days – International Urban Photography Festival (Oct. 27-29), already acclaimed as one of the most important events in Italy and Europe.

The “SALUTES FROM THE FUTURE” event organized by the Order will take place on Saturday, June 24th, in Trieste with:

>One-hour workshop for children and youth.
Time: 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm
Location: Gazebo located in Via Genova corner of Via Dante

Children and teens will be invited to imagine another idea of the city-from the 6 selected images of the Trieste Audace project – redrawing its contours and spaces. The drawings will become postcards that, displayed to the public – will be ideally sent to “adult” citizens and administrators as a suggestion for an ever closer future.

At the conclusion of the workshop there will be an exhibition of photographs by Andrea Cipriani, Aran Cosentino, Francesco Lupò, Maria Zambon, Marisa Paoli, Pia Parolin used by the workshop participants to process the postcards.
