Mythography Vol. IV includes photos and projects inspired by two deities from the Greco-Roman pantheon: Vulcan, god of fire and metallurgy, and Uranus, personification of the heavens and the sky. Curated by Enrico Medda, professor of Greek literature at the University of Pisa, the volume explores themes represented by these two mythological figures: creative work, craftsmanship, technology, deserts, volcanoes, metalworking, architecture, and geometry for Vulcan, and sky, landscapes, skylines, and aerial photography for Uranus.

The photographic project:

The Mythography series of photographic volumes returns with its fourth volume. Edited by Professor Enrico Medda, Mythography 4 will be a third volume inspired by the deities of the Greek-Latin pantheon Vulcan and Uranus. A project focused on the themes represented by the two deities. Vulcan, god of fire and metallurgy, symbolizes work creativity, craftsmanship, technology, deserts, volcanoes, metalworking, architecture and geometries. Uranus, god of the sky and husband of Gaia (goddess of the Earth), will represent the theme of the sky, panoramas, skylines and aerial photography (drone).
