The final phase of the poetry contest dedicated to Giuseppe Ungaretti is taking shape. The jury has carefully completed the initial selection, identifying the authors whose poetic voices have sensitively and originally interpreted the legacy of the great poet.

Now, a new phase awaits these talented poets. Among the selected works, the winners will be chosen, and their poetry will embark on an unprecedented dialogue with the photography of Gianpaolo Arena. The words will meet the photographic gaze of the master in a precious editorial publication, a union of expressive languages that promises to move and provoke thought.

The emotion will not end within the pages. The winning poems, alongside the evocative photographs by Gianpaolo Arena, will also be the protagonists of a special exhibition held within the prestigious international festival Trieste Photo Days 2025. A unique opportunity to immerse oneself in an artistic synergy that celebrates the power of the word and the strength of the image.
