Are you ready to transform your vision into a collectible work of art?
Exhibit Around APS and dotART, in collaboration with the Passage Arte Contemporanea gallery, officially open submissions for the new international call for Scatti da Collezione, which in 2026 presents the theme A Journey Beyond the Visible!
The new Open Call invites photographers to engage with a theme of profound emotional and conceptual impact: introspection and the inner journey.
In line with the artistic ethos of the Passage Arte Contemporanea gallery, we are not seeking straightforward documentary work. Instead, we seek a plurality of artistic interpretations and photographic visions in which the interior journey leads the way toward open-ended interpretative possibilities.
Submitted portfolios will be carefully reviewed by Passage Arte Contemporanea, which will select works demonstrating a high level of artistic maturity in expressing deep-seated ideas and emotions.
The jury will be composed of:
Peter Iancovich (Director and co-founder of the Passage Arte Contemporanea gallery), Alessandra Spigai (Artist and co-founder of the Passage Arte Contemporanea gallery), Alessandra Calò (Photographer), Fabrizio Cicconi (Photographer), Annalisa Foti (Art dealer), and Daniele Berto (Poet).
The Best Project will be exhibited at the Passage Arte Contemporanea gallery during Trieste Photo Days 2026 (23–25 October) and will receive the STELE, a bespoke collector’s trophy created by Giorgio Celiberti (estimated value €1,000).
Honourable Mentions, awarded to projects that stand out for their originality and visual impact, will receive the SIGILLI (Seals) created by Giorgio Celiberti.
Collectible Shots will also result in a photographic publication including the winning project and the five Honourable Mentions.
The exhibition will bring into dialogue the winning project from the open call with the photographic series A/R Acqua e Ruggine by Giulia Natalia Comito, winner of the 2025 Portfolio Reviews, and the sculptures from the series Le Muse interiori by Alessandra Spigai.
Comito’s rarefied and suspended atmospheres will serve as the narrative thread of the entire exhibition, transforming the concept of travel into an intimate and poetic story. Meanwhile, Spigai’s sculptures will create a direct encounter between photography and materiality, expanding reflections on interiority and stimulating multiple artistic interpretations.
Join “Collectible Shots 2026” and take your photography beyond the visible!
Winner of the Portfolio Reviews at Trieste Photo Days 2025, Giulia Natalia Comito presents her work A/R Acqua e Ruggine.
Her practice is defined by ethereal atmospheres and the ability to evoke suspended worlds, making it the ideal partner for the “inner journey” this call aims to capture. Giulia Natalia Comito transforms the idea of travel into a narrative of nostalgia, inviting the viewer to explore their own interior world.

(Winning project of the Portfolio Readings – Trieste Photo Days 2025)
Alessandra Spigai is a multidisciplinary artist whose research spans painting, sculpture and writing, following an early background in graphic design, design and photography. Her work constructs a symbolic universe where archetypal figures and inner architecture become tools for investigating the poetic and transformative dimensions of the human experience. Through material and colour, her works evoke thresholds and inner maps, creating a dialogue between the visible and invisible.
Her series Le Muse interiori explores the complex prism of human emotion and the “struggle of living,” reflecting on the awareness of one’s limits and impulses while investigating contradictions, desires, fears and the forces that drive inner transformation.
