Mythography VI has exceeded all expectations!
The sixth edition of the Exhibit Around APS project, dedicated to Jupiter and Bacchus, attracted over 800 photographers from around the world. This year, we received nearly 2,000 single photographs and over 250 portfolios, exploring Greco-Roman mythology through a variety of perspectives and styles, with creative interpretations and contemporary readings, all surprising and original.
A big thank you to all the participants: Mythography VI brought together a wider and more diverse community than ever before, and the quality of the submissions made this edition particularly rich and inspiring.
The selected works will be published in a prestigious photographic volume, which will be presented during Trieste Photo Days 2026 (October 23–25), and will be part of a dedicated exhibition, making this edition memorable for both authors and visitors.
We will shortly announce the photographers selected for the sixth volume curated by Enrico Medda, Professor of Greek Literature at the University of Pisa. In the meantime, our calls continue: there is still time to participate in TRAVEL (deadline March 1), and new opportunities will be announced in the coming weeks.
