The free open call Travel – An Atlas of Stories, Places and Faces, promoted by Exhibit Around APS, has officially come to a close, marked by an incredible international participation.

A total of 6,543 single images were submitted by 1,311 photographers, along with 622 portfolios presented by 524 authors. A truly outstanding result that highlights how travel serves as a field of visual inquiry where landscape and the human dimension intertwine..

Our heartfelt thanks go to all the photographers who chose to embark on this journey with us: the quality and diversity of the submitted works represent the beating heart of this “contemporary atlas.”

The project now enters its most anticipated phase. The curatorial selection process begins, leading to the collective exhibition within Trieste Photo Days 2026 and the publication of a prestigious photography volume.
