Rebeka Legović
Rebeka Legović was born in Rijeka (Croatia). She works as a journalist and editor at RTV Slovenia, but she is also an artist and photographer specializing in fashion, architecture and conceptual photography. In her work, the abstract minimalism of a setting out of time, yet full of references, is enveloping and silent at the same time. Her world is rigorous, attentive to forms, in which beauty and introspection dialogue with an environmental metaphysics where human figures are themselves organic components of the visual fabric. A production of dreamlike and contemplative images that cross the observer’s mind to stimulate a multiplicity of suggestions to compose a sort of visual library. Her works have been awarded at the most famous international photographic competitions, including the Fine Art Photography Awards, PX3 Paris Photo Prize, Julia Margaret Cameron Awards, Moscow Foto Awards, Pollux Awards, and many more. In 2019 and 2020 in New York she was proclaimed “Advertising Photographer of the Year” during the prestigious IPA International Photography Awards. You collaborate with magazines and journals of the sector. Her works are part of public and private collections, and have been exhibited all over the world.
