Exhibit Around is excited to announce the upcoming release of a new photography zine: Urban Animals – We are not alone, coming to print in October 2025. This bold and eye-catching publication is a side project of the official “Urban Animals” open call, organized by Exhibit Around in partnership with Trieste Photo Days.

While the main Urban Animals book and exhibition – debuting 24 October at the 12th edition of Trieste Photo Days festival – explore many different ways animals appear in city life, the zine takes a different path. It focuses on the strange and creepy side of animals in urban environments, with a dark sense of humor, including images of playful or even surreal interpretations of the theme. The mix of real and artificial creatures creates a weird and wonderful look at how animals appear in our cities – not only in the streets, but also in our imaginations.
