After weeks of match-ups and voting, it is time to reveal the winners of the EA Cup 2026, Exhibit Around’s knockout photography tournament. Once again this year, the community’s votes brought photographers and their images head to head, round after round, all the way to the final.
Deborah Granieri De Panfilis is the winner of the EA Cup 2026 with Burn-out, a photograph that interprets the theme ‘Details’ with sharp visual intelligence.
Alongside the photographic competition, the EA Cup also recognises those who take part in the voting. The title of Best Voter 2026 goes to Annemarie Jung, for her consistent participation throughout the tournament.
The awards ceremony will take place during Trieste Photo Days on Sunday 25 October at 5 pm in Sala Xenia.

The theme of the EA Cup 2026, ‘Details’, was proposed by Sandro Tedde, runner-up in the previous edition.
It takes its cue from the famous phrase attributed to the architect Mies van der Rohe, ‘God is in the details’. The theme invites photographers to focus on what often remains in the background, observing how a single detail can help define the meaning and atmosphere of an image.
Throughout the tournament, participants approached the theme through a range of perspectives and visual languages, turning detail into the starting point for a wide variety of interpretations.
The EA Cup is one of the ways in which Exhibit Around brings together its photography community. The tournament offers a chance to engage with other photographers, take part in a competition decided by public vote and share one’s work, and it forms part of a wider programme of exhibitions, festivals, workshops and talks.
Throughout the year, the Exhibit Around community can follow and take part in a range of initiatives, which bring together photographers with different experiences and approaches.
