EA Cup 2023 – Rules Photography Contest for Members

The photography contest EA Cup 2023 is reserved to subscribed members of Exhibit Around APS, both existing subscribers and new ones that wish to sign up in order to submit their photo to the tournament.

For all the photographers that want to join this first edition of the EA Cup there is a special promo: all registrations made between July 22nd and August 7th from participant photographers will be extended to the whole of 2024 automatically and for free.

Promoters

The dotART and Exhibit Around APS associations, promoters of the Trieste Photo Days festival, present the first edition of the EA CUP 2023 photography contest. A contest reserved exclusively for Exhibit Around APS members, which sees them as all-around protagonists in the growth of a new format.

The tournament

The EA CUP works just like a knockout tournament, where the competing photos battle each other to the final podium full of prizes. EA members can participate for free by submitting one themed photo. The first edition of the EA CUP will be dedicated to street photography.

The results of competing photos will be visible at the end of each voting period on the bracket in the user area. The final rounds will be played live during the Trieste Photo Days festival.

How to win

The competing photos will be voted by the participants themselves during the numerous elimination rounds, and the best will be awarded during the Trieste Photo Days festival.

Being excluded from the competition rounds does not preclude a win!
You can continue to play in the tournament by voting for the photos left in the competition with perseverance and photographic intuition.
A scoring system based on the rounds will determine the winner of the “Best Voter” award.

All winners will have their photos displayed for free during the international urban photography
festival Trieste Photo Days (October 27-29, 2023).

Requirements for participation

Contest entry is reserved to Exhibit Around APS members only.

To submit photos simply register or log in to the user area, select the EA Cup 2023 open call and follow the upload procedure. Only one photo can be submitted.

Theme

The first edition of the EA Cup 2023 trophy will be dedicated to Street Photography.

Timeline

Registration is open from July 22th to July 31 August 7th, 2023.
Voting rounds will be announced by email from Exhibit Around APS.
