Mythography Vol. V is a photographic project that aims to explore the timeless and universal themes of mythology through the lenses of modern photographers. This edition focuses on three iconic Roman goddesses—Juno, Venus, and Vesta—and their enduring influence on art, culture, and storytelling. The project celebrates mythology in its broadest interpretation: from its representation in classical art and literature to its echoes in contemporary life. It invites a fresh perspective on ancient archetypes, reinterpreted through the eyes of photographers from around the globe. With the special participation of international photographers and creative visionaries, the exhibition bridges the gap between myth and the modern world, connecting the past and present through compelling visual narratives.
Applications for Mythography V are officially closed. The Exhibit Around APS project dedicated to Greco-Roman mythology has garnered exceptional participation.
Selections are now open for photographers who will become part of the 5th volume of the series of photographic books inspired by mythology.
Deadline 2nd February, 2025
Photography open call for the fifth volume of the Mythography series, the photographic books inspired by the gods of Greco-Roman mythology.
