The project was created to support photographers in their professional path within the world of fine art photography and galleries, giving them a concrete opportunity to exhibit and sell their work in a gallery setting. At the heart of the project is the international selection process, through which the photographic project to be exhibited at Passage Arte Contemporanea during Trieste Photo Days 2026 (October 22-25) will be identified.

The exhibition will put the winning work in dialogue with A/R Acqua e Ruggine by Giulia Natalia Comito, already a winner of the 2025 Portfolio Reviews, and with Alessandra Spigai’s sculptures from the series Le muse interiori. Comito’s rarefied, suspended atmospheres will run through the exhibition as a connecting thread, turning the idea of a journey into a poetic and intimate narrative, while Spigai’s sculptures will bring photography and materiality into direct dialogue, broadening the reflection on interiority.

Beyond the exhibition, Collectible Shots – A Journey Beyond the Visible will also result in a photo book featuring the winning work and the honourable mentions.

The final selection will be made by a jury made up of Peter Iancovich (director and co-founder of Passage Arte Contemporanea gallery), Alessandra Spigai (artist and co-founder of Passage Arte Contemporanea gallery), Alessandra Calò (photographer), Fabrizio Cicconi (photographer), Annalisa Foti (art dealer), and Daniele Berto (poet).

The finalists will be announced soon. In the meantime, congratulations to all the selected photographers on this important achievement!
