Registration for the photographic open call PLAY! - Let the Game Begin closes and the selection and production phases begin. The work of this curatorship will give life to the exhibitions dedicated to the project and to the original photographic volume.
Both will be presented in October 2024 during the Trieste Photo Days international photography festival in the presence of the project's super guest: Australian photographer Adam Pretty, member of the Getty Images agency.
Ambitious projects such as PLAY - Let the Game Begin make possible a major photographic reality such as Exhibit Around which can count on original contents, host internationally renowned artists and give life to a major photographic festival such as Trieste Photo Days. All thanks to our members.
Your support allows us to dedicate time, work and passion to photography. We continue to create and schedule open calls, exhibitions, books and events thus creating an international stage for photographers and their work.
3 weeks long exhibition at Trieste Photo Days: from 25th October to 10th November 2024

At the exhibition, the photos of the participants will be exhibited together with those of special guest Adam Pretty! Each exhibited photo will bear the author's name, email address, website and nationality. Moreover, the exhibition will be held during the international festival of photography Trieste Photo Days.
We are also working on a second exhibition dedicated to the project. Further updates coming soon.
The photos and portfolios submitted by the participants and selected during the curation will be paginated in the book together with those of Adam Pretty to give life to an important photographic volume dedicated to sports!
More than 500 estimated pages of single photos and photographic projects all formatted in a deluxe limited edition 22 x 22 cm with international photo guest. Estimated production times for the photo book range from May to June 2024 with an exclusive pre-order reserved for authors in July 2024.
Exhibit Around will create a special where the participating authors will be able to participate and give a short interview telling their photos, what inspired their shots and how they lived this photographic experience.
Exhibit Around is an APS: Social Promotion Association. It's pure passion for photography, non-profit. Selected photographers will be asked for a small production fee to see their photos displayed in the exhibition and in the photographic volume. Contributions will be used to cover:

Othe than to competing for free for the open call victory, the selected photographers who will pay the expenses contribution will have their photos displayed in the exhibition and included in the book. Furthermore, Exhibit Around will give media visibility to the names of the photographers in the project.
Exhibit Around APS will select the Best Author of the project, Honorable Mentions and Remarkable Rewards.
The award event will be held on the occasion of the Trieste Photo Days 2024 international photography festival and both best author and honorable mentions will receive an invitation as guests of honor at the Photographers' Dinner.

EXHIBIT AROUND: 2019 - 2023
PLAY! - Let the Game Begin follows the success of Exhibit Around's tribute-projects in which hundreds of photographers from all over the world participate every year. After the projects with Martin Parr (Short Street Stories - 2019), Alex Webb (Chromantic - 2020), the street photography project with VoidTokyo (Tales of the Unwritten - 2021), the project dedicated to women with Susan Meiselas (WOW: Worlds of Women - 2022) and the photographic tribute to water with Kadir van Lohuizen (71% - The State of Water - 2023), 2024 will be a year dedicated to sports!
