PLAY! - Let the Game Begin is a photographic project that aims to explore the wonderful and unique world of sport. A photographic celebration of a dimension that profoundly influences our lives, understanding the term "sport" in its broadest declination: from a meeting between fans, to a game with friends, a school dance recital up to competitive sporting events and the world of high-level sport. With the special participation of professional sports photographer Adam Pretty, 11-time photographer of the Olympics and many other top-level sporting events.

The exhibition, organized by Trieste-based cultural associations Exhibit Around APS and dotART, through three separate but closely interconnected projects, invites us to explore Friuli Venezia Giulia from different perspectives, offering a unique view of its historical, social and cultural evolution.
The flagship Exhibit Around project for 2024. A book that explores the relationship between humans and sports in its broadest sense, from professional athletes to fans. PLAY! - Let The Game Begin is born from the selection of the best shots among more than 5000 photos submitted through the open call from around the world.
The volume includes exclusive shots by Australian photographer and Getty Images member Adam Pretty, the special guest of the project, and a photographer of major sporting events such as the 2024 Olympics and the 2024 Doha Aquatics World Championships.
